Speakers
Damian Baum has worked in Technology for over 25 years. Many of those years were spent as an enterprise application developer for a wholesale distribution company. During that time, Baum enjoyed the challenges of early analytics and evolving IT security. Then he had the privilege of spending ten years in K-12 education technology as his children spent the early years in school. Now that Damian’s children are older, he is enjoying a change of pace to utilize his IT experience as the Director of Technology and Metering at a rural Minnesota municipal utility.
Jason Pegg is Domain Architect over Data Delivery, Systems Integration, and Energy Resources at Avista Utilities. Jason’s background is in complex systems design and integration and brings with him 25 years of industry experience. Jason holds degrees in Computer Science with emphasis in Math, Physics, and Machine Learning.
Mike Petramalo is an experienced analyst and software developer. He has been in the utilities industry for the last year with SERC Reliability Corporation as a Business Intelligence Analyst moving into the Data Science space. Prior he spent 5 years heading up the Analytics department for a Pet Hotel in Jacksonville, Fl. His primary job functions include creating visuals for Power BI using custom code and using AI to gain insights into data. When not at work, Mike can be found spending time with his rescue dogs or playing disc golf.
