  Important Information Regarding UA Summit 2020

  UA Summit Reimagined – Online in June 

  Dear UAI Members, 

  This week the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommended that no gatherings with 50 people or more take place for the next eight weeks in order to slow the spread of COVID-19. The worldwide emergency has created undeniable risk and concern around personal contact and travel. Based on recent developments in the U.S. and feedback from our membership, the UA Summit 2020 San Francisco event planned for April 15-17 will no longer take place in person, and instead we will relaunch as a virtual event in June 2020. 

  UA Summit exists for our industry to come together and engage, share and learn. We are excited to move to a virtual event model for our membership and attendees, UA Summit Reimagined. 

  UA Summit Reimagined is a 3-day conference that will take place 100% online. This multi-faceted virtual event experience will feature utility-led webinars, panel discussions via podcast, Lightning Talk videos, and discussion forums. Our UAI membership and attendees are asking for a virtual solution so they may continue a best-in-class idea exchange. We can and will deliver insights and perspective from the best minds in the industry.

  Over the next few weeks you will receive more information about UA Summit Reimagined. We will provide the same content as originally planned and some new elements will be added to the program, thanks to technology in an online format.

  The next opportunity to participate in an in-person UAI event will be Utility Analytics Week 2020, hosted by Oncor Electric Delivery, September 30-October 2, 2020 at the Gaylord Texan in Dallas, TX.  Call for speakers and registration is now open!
