    UAI Member Badges and Ribbons

    Hello UAI Members,

    Happy Friday! I hope you had a wonderful week.

    You may have noticed that your profile within UAI Connect looks a bit more decorated. We are excited to help you accessorize your profile with badges and ribbons that you can earn for many different things, like:

    • Contributing on UAI Connect – creating discussion posts, answering discussion posts, connecting directly with other members,etc. The more you contribute, the more you “level-up” and earn higher value ribbons. 
    • Actions taken to update your profile – adding your photo, completing your bio, connecting your social media accounts, completing demographics, etc. 
    • Engagement within the UAI Community – join one or more UAI Communities
    • Volunteering within the UAI community – check out all the volunteer opportunities with UAI
    • Member Loyalty – we are still working on this one! UAI Connect is always a work in progress, as we continue to enhance it weekly to provide you with even more value and a little fun!

    You can check out badges and ribbons that you have already earned and those that you can earn within your profile under “MY CONTRIBUTIONS”, and then click on “Achievements”. If a badge or ribbon is a bright color, you have earned it and it will appear on your profile – congratulations! If the badge or ribbon is shaded, than you can earn it. By digging around on this page, you might get a little glimpse of some things to come for members…things we haven’t even announced yet. :-) 

    I have provide a screen shot of my profile below as an example of what you might see on your own profile. If you don’t see any badges or ribbons on your profile, we look forward to seeing you more often on UAI Connect, so you can step-up, get involved, and lead the way!
