HybridEX – Hybrid Work Experience Stats.

  • HybridEX – Hybrid Work Experience Stats.

I’m looking for some utility specific stats to help support our request to have all of IT go Hybrid Work Experience permanently.

    1) Does any one have financial cost savings for a utility with a hybrid environment over full time in office.

    2) Recovery cost, how long does it take to replace someone that leaves?

    3) What are utilities doing to combat the risk of loosing staff?

    4) How had talent loss affected  you utility?

5)What are the realities of trying to replace lost staff?

    6) What roles are most impacted by the covid/post covid staff resignations?

    7) Have you experienced a more productive staff with Hybrid working?

    8) Have they been working more no pay hours, after hours

I’ll add another question. Has the Delta or Omnicrom variants affected your hybrid or back to work plans?

At the UAI Summit I attended a while back (in Irvine) the top analytics use case was theft of service detection. I would think this mind set would extend itself to market manipulation on the wholesale level.

    Subject: FERC Governance

I just saw an industry article on FERC’s uptick in investigations of market manipulation. In one case a dissenting commissioner claimed the accused violator claims they observed all the rules but were paying the fine to buy themselves out of the situation.
Working at a generation and transmission utility, and closely with the group that participates in the power market, we see in all the related use cases the importance and care required to observe FERC regulations. I’m curious to know if any utilities, or FERC itself, are applying analytics to monitor the markets and raise red flags for market manipulation…and if not why not?

Or – more importantly – how do you tell a story with data that people can relate to or use to make better decisions?  Journalist and editor Sabine Devins will take you through the fundamentals of finding a story, crafting a story and presenting a story with examples from her work as the Managing Editor of the award-winning INFO.GRAPHICS digital magazine. We’ll look at the stories and how we applied certain principles and how and why to apply storytelling to your work.
