    Dear UAI Friends and Colleagues,

Apologies for using this forum for a somewhat personal message, but I wanted to let you all know that I start a new position with Sempra Infrastructure (an unregulated Sempra affiliate) next week, so will no longer be part of SDG&E or able to participate in UAI.  This is such a great community – I’ve enjoyed the relationships that I’ve established with many of you over the years and appreciate the recognition you have shared with me.

Keep sharing, collaborating and learning from each other.  It’s been an honor and pleasure to work with you all – I hopefully be able to rejoin you again in the future.  Many thanks, and do keep in touch!

Love the input we got on this thread last week, thank you to everyone who helped get us kicked off!

I still love the idea of #WisdomWednesday and want to keep this as a reoccuring thread. As a reminder, the idea here is to share a brief lesson or a quick hit on something you learned, found interesting, and might benefit someone else. This doesn’t necessarily have to be analytics related. If there is a workflow trick or even something you’ve learned out of work that you found interesting/beneficial we would love your input.

Thanks again and I hope everyone has an amazing Wednesday!

    Hello UAI Members,

Happy Wednesday! The UAI and UAI Connect Ambassador teams wanted to introduce something new to spice up your traditional “hump day.” Our idea? Wisdom Wednesday! Break up your week with a new forum of lessons learned from your fellow UAI members.

The idea of Wisdom Wednesday is simple. Share a brief lesson or a quick hit on something you learned, found interesting, and might benefit someone else. Think of this like a glorified “show and tell”! With our members working on so many different projects, this should be a fun way to share the work you’re doing and exchange knowledge and best practices. No need to be formal. We’re only looking for a few sentences per entry.

Who will be kicking off our first “Wisdom Wednesday” today?

Another cool shortcut I learned yesterday is to hit the windows key + V and get a history of items you’ve “copied” to the clipboard.  You can then select something from the past and its available to be pasted.

One less fun word of wisdom about ChatGPT – make sure you aren’t using confidential/proprietary information, since they store queries to learn more. Which could mean they are storing your code and comments in plaintext that others can then ask about. Here’s an article about why Amazon isn’t allowing employees to use it: Don’t Chat With ChatGPT: Amazon’s Warning To Employees | by Liquid Ocelot | InkWater Atlas | Jan, 2023 | Medium
