    Hi all!

Consumers Energy is looking into utilizing data sources such as AMI meter Data, historical outage data, and other SCADA enabled LVD line devices to develop an algorithm/model to predict when a service or transformer level outage is going to happen in the future.

We would love to connect with any companies that have already done this to learn more about what datasets you found useful, the granularity of the data utilized within your models, and any other lessons learned along the way.

Please let me know if you would be available to have a conversation!

    Thanks!

    Sarah

Predicting Asset Failure Presentation with Q&A/open discussion With a major focus on customer satisfaction and utilizing the investment Entergy made in Smart Grid, this session will demonstrate how the use of AMI meter data can help predict failure of distribution transformers, plan better for their replacement, and reduce outage minutes and overtime. During this session, Entergy will demonstrate their Transformer Failure Prediction Tool, the business process, and the preliminary business value since the release of this product.

    Thanks!
