“SAS has provided the utility industry with powerful data management, forecasting, asset health, risk management, customer intelligence and other analytics for over 40 years. We work closely with our customers to address emerging industry issues with cutting-edge AI and ML technology, built on an analytics foundation that has garnered leader ranking in the major analyst ratings.”

Hello UAI Members,
I hope all is well! I just wanted to circle back on last week’s #WisdomWednesday post and learn more about your work with code. In lou of building out Algorithm Alley I’m hoping utility members will be willing to share some of the work they’re doing with code (whether it’s sharing sample script or a sample workbook). To compliment the great discussions taking place in our Data Science Community, Algorithm Alley is entirely devoted toward the sharing and collaboration of source code. With so many of us working with code on a daily basis, I’m hoping folks will be willing to help us grow this exciting repository.

Algorithm Alley is a utility member resource only. Please make sure any data uploaded to Algorithm Alley is not sensitive or private. Please refer to our code of conduct or reach out to me at kpraet@utilityanalytics.com if you have any questions or concerns.
Thanks again and I look forward to seeing your input!

Subject: Wisdom Wednesday – Working with Code? Help us Populate Algorithm Alley!Hello UAI Members,
Happy Wednesday (and final day of May)! To continue our #WisdomWednesday theme, I wanted to tie things back to Algorithm Alley this week. For those who may be newer to our community, Algorithm Alley is a resource right here on UAI Connect that is designed to help members share and collaborate on various form of source code. Divided into four main categories (Data Engineering, Data Visualization, Machine Learning Algorithms, and Programming) members will have the option of perusing through different entries while also being able to upload their own content.
For this week’s #WisdomWednesday I want to help grow Algorithm Alley. With so many of us working heavily with code every day, my goal is to populate this forum with examples of script that might help others in similar positions or just begining to get their feet wet. We have a few example posts, along with an introductory video directly on the Algorithm Alley page, to help get you started but please don’t hesitate to reach out to me directly if you have any questions kpraet@utilityanalytics.com.

Hello, Vlad. GTC is currently in the process of evaluating data catalog products with the purpose of purchasing and implementing one in 2024. We’ve excluded MS Purview because our IT department has informed us that it won’t work with our on-prem databases.

Hi Doni and Michael,
EPE implemented Power Bi several years ago, but just recently have been able to make some strides. Perhaps we could all have a chat together? I’d be interested to hear what you both have to say.
