Hey Blake,
Thanks for your note! I’ve provided some information below on both events but let’s also plan to connect offline to discuss this in more detail.
Utility Analytics Week:
At the Utility Analytics Week, coming up October 23-25 in Phoenix, AZ and hosted by SRP, utilities come together to share analytics use cases and best practices. The event content is divided into tracks based on utility business verticals, allowing attendees to see how analytics are applied in each channel. Utility Analytics Week is the larger of our two events and we are expecting 500+ attendees this fall. The audience at the Week is roughly 55% utilities and their best Analytics Practitioners, Managers, Directors, and VPs. This event also includes solution provider exhibitors.
Utility Analytics Summit:
At the Utility Analytics Summit, coming up May 6-8 in Charlotte, NC and hosted by Duke Energy, analytics professionals will take an in-depth look at how analytics are being applied to help utilities make better data-driven decisions. The event content is divided into different tracks by analytics maturity levels, emerging technologies, and analytics strategies. The audience at the Summit is roughly 60% utilities and their best Data Scientists, Managers, Directors, and VPs. This conference has no solution provider exhibitors and averages 400+ attendees.

I’ve recently transitioned from Electrical Engineering into a data analytics role at my utility and I’m interested in the resources offered by UAI. I’m particularly interested in the conference events. What is the difference between Utility Analytics Week and Utility Analytics Summit?
