Session Description:
At CLP, one of the leading utilities in Asia, the team has been developing and deploying a range of IoT based solutions to help with analyzing, predicting and optimizing assets from C&I customers specifically to help modernize aging buildings. With the ability to understand when critical building equipment will potentially fail, optimizing work activities based on prioritizing equipment checks, and automation of equipment settings, there are opportunities for providing value for asset health but at the same time challenges with IoT solutions (costs, accuracy, comms, etc.).
During this session, Pubs and Rolf will share how IoT and cloud has been leveraged to adopt use cases where the principles are applicable for both customers and also internal operations.
Speaker: Pubs Abayasiri, Associate Director Digital Products at CLP Hong Kong

product lifecycle management (PLM) software in the energy, process, architecture and construction industries. Previously, Rolf was the Industry Solutions Leader in IBM’s Energy & Utilities organization.
