  Upcoming December (2021) Community Conversation

  Hello Asset Health Analytics Community Members,

  I hope all is well! We are one week away from our December (2021) Asset Health Analytics Community Conversation (part of this year’s virtual UA Week event) and want to get you excited about the session taking place. On Tuesday, December 7th at 1:30 PM CT, we’ll be joined by Adam Trevizo, Asset Management Specialist at Western Area Power Administration (WAPA), who will be leading a discussion around, “Using historical asset data to schedule future work and inform asset health indices.” As this discussion will be interactive, we encourage you to come prepared with questions and your insight.

  Session Description:
  
  Electrical assets undergo a structured and rigorous set of maintenance activities to keep them functioning properly. The type of work performed, the duration in which it was accomplished, who performed the work, and work location are all key historical attributes that are captured in most utility work management databases. Accurately and effectively harvesting this data can be used to plan and schedule future work in addition to being used to drive health determinations for asset level units.

  Adam Trevizo has worked at WAPA as both a contractor and federal employee for 16 years.  He has served various roles within the organization including Engineering Technician for Construction, Power Systems Maintenance Specialist for Substation and T-Line Maintenance and most recently Asset Management Specialist for the Desert Southwest Region.

  In addition to his Asset Management role, he also provides support as Regional Maximo coordinator, regional coordinator for Substation Mobile Inspection program and Regional POC for FAC-008 NERC compliance.
