    Hello Asset Health Analytics Community Members,

    Thanks for attending the December 7, 2021 Asset Health Analytics Community Conversation, part of this year’s virtual UA Week event! For those unable to attend, we missed you and look forward to seeing you online in January. During this Community Conversation, we were joined by Adam Trevizo, Asset Management Specialist at WAPA, who led a presentation around,“Using Historical Asset Data to Schedule Future Work and Inform Asset Health Indices.”

    We look forward to seeing you online next month for our January Asset Health Community Conversation taking place Wednesday, January 26 (2022) at 2:00 PM CT. During this Community Conversation we’ll be hearing from Mike White, Local Relations Representative, and Justin Nettesheim, Sr. Asset Manager, at American Transmission Company, who will be leading a presentation with Q&A and open discussion around, A Python Experiment: Identification of High Voltage Transmission Line Asset Renewal Initiatives Using Structure-Based Information.     1. Understanding and Operationalizing Artificial Intellegence Survey

      • We have launched a new survey to understand how utilities are currently using artificial intelligence and the main challenges to operationalizing it. The survey inquires about AI use cases, data strategies, technology strategies, data ethics and governance strategies, and organizational culture.
      • If you have an understanding of your utility’s approach to these initiatives, please take this 5-minute survey! If you are not the right person for this survey, please forward the link to a colleague who is familiar with these initiatives. 
      • We hope to deliver the results to our members in the form of a report by the end of the year, so help us out and take the survey!
    2. Utility Analytics 101 Training: 2022 Schedule Now Available!

      • UAI has partnered with The University of Oklahoma, Data Science and Analytics Institute to develop and deliver training and certification in analytics topics in the utilities sector. We could not be more excited to bring this new offering to the industry!
      • Register for public classroom, virtual classroom and private group training options.
      • The training will provide a Certificate of Participation and Completion and Continuing Education Units (CEUs) through the University of Oklahoma.
