I hope all is well! We are just under one week away from our In-Person May (2022) Asset Health Analytics Community Conversation taking place live at UA Summit 2022. On Tuesday, May 10th at 1:30 PM CT, we’ll be joined by Jennifer Foster, Sr. Manager, Transmission & Distribution Asset Management who will be leading a discussion around, “Implementing a Data-Driven Asset Risk Model with Capital Planning Solution for Distribution Assets.”

Session Description:
In 2020, Evergy was seeking a software solution for its distribution asset base with the immediate goal of being able to identify projects for system rebuild that reduce system risk and provide benefits to customers. The selected solution utilizes asset data, outage history, inspection records, and customer information to model asset health, risk, asset prioritization, and capital budget optimization. Evergy will discuss the software tool and use of the tool to prioritize distribution capital work at Evergy.
Speaker: Jennifer Foster, Sr. Manager, Transmission & Distribution Asset Management (Evergy)
Jennifer Foster is the Senior Manager of Transmission and Distribution Asset Management for Evergy. In this role, Jennifer leads of team of eight engineers who develop capital projects and programs focused on reducing system risk and improving reliability for customers. Over her 26 years with Evergy and its predecessor companies, she has served in numerous roles in generation, substation, distribution, and corporate departments. She lives on a farm near Topeka, KS which is where she spends much of her free time helping her husband feed cattle and grow crops.
