Hello Asset Health Analytics Community Members,

I hope all is well! We are one week away from our July (2022) Asset Health Analytics Community Conversation and want to get you excited about the session taking place. On Wednesday, July 27th at 2:00 PM CT, we’ll be joined by @Chris, VP of Asset Planning & Management at Western Area Power Administration (WAPA) who will be leading a discussion around, “WAPA’s 2021 Asset Almanac: Data Driving Decisions.”  As this discussion will be interactive, we encourage you to come prepared with questions and your insight.

Session Description:

WAPA’s Asset Management Program has been maturing since it’s inception in 2015. Part of the maturing process was the development of an annual publication called the Asset Almanac. The purpose of the document is to communicate to a broad, high-level audience the importance of a formal asset management program, what type of asset data is available, and how that data can be used to inform business decisions. Join us for an open dialogue on the development of WAPA’s Asset Management program, the bumpy road of development, and lessons learned along the way.

Speaker: Chris Lyles, VP of Asset Planning & Management (WAPA)

Chris is married to one really exceptional wife and has three really great kids.  He lives in Lakewood, CO which is also the home of WAPA Headquarters.  He’s been with WAPA since 2008 and joined Asset Management in 2018.  Asset Management is the perfect fit for Chris as it combines the business side of the utility industry with the technical aspects of transmission assets.  Best of both worlds!
