Hello Asset Health Analytics Community Members,

I hope all is well! We are one week away from our December (2022) Asset Health Analytics Community Conversation and want to get you excited about the session taking place. On Wednesday, December 7th at 2:00 PM CT, we’ll be joined by Glen Sartain, Principal Director at Accenture who will be leading a presentation with Q&A and open discussion around, “Situational Awareness.” As this discussion will be interactive, we encourage you to come prepared with questions and your insight.

Learn more about this session and our speaker below!

    Session Description:

While most Utilities have a robust Asset Management program for planning, asset optimization and risk management there is often a gap between those areas and how the assets are impacting Operations in real time. In other words, how do we utilize the sensor data provided from the assets to improve situational awareness in near real-time? The goal is to move from situational awareness to “situational intelligence” using Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning

In this session, we will explore and discuss the following:

    • 86% of Utility operators consider improving the lifetime of ageing equipment as the major goal of their predictive maintenance initiatives.
    • 75% of Utilities executives plan to largely use AI to automate tasks in the next 3 years.
    • How to create a closed loop Asset Management program with Monitoring
    • How to begin the journey toward “Situational Intelligence”

Speaker: Glen Sartain, Principal Director (Accenture)

Glen specializes in design and integration of operations elements used for Analytics for operational performance improvement and digital transformation through Situational Awareness.  In his current role, he leads the Asset Performance Monitoring Practice at Accenture. Glen is also recognized in the Utility analytics community for his expertise in advancing analytic capabilities to help companies improve operations, bringing new insight from the proven models used today in all industries.
