Group Description
The Asset Health Analytics Community will share and explore asset health analytics use cases to help each other advance their own specific solutions and needs as it relates to asset health. Through a use case-based approach, the community will explore the framework and necessary technologies to deliver the desired results/objectives of the use case. Some use cases may be to drive an overall asset class view of the health, condition, and risk while others may be very specific to drive immediate actions on individual assets.Members will encourage the use of all the data sources necessary to determine asset health, asset condition, asset risk, etc. to drive better and more informed business decisions as it relates to return on investment (ROI)/improved financial status, asset life cycle, and asset maintenance strategies.- Data sources used as input to the asset health/condition/risk can include, but are not limited to, satellite imagery, drone data/images, inspections, monitor/sensor data, AMI data, operations/outage history data, etc.Members will share utility experiences and use cases to help Identify, educate, and collaborate on and within the community to define frameworks for asset health/condition/risk assessment, and to enable better and more informed business decisions for each asset class. – Frameworks to discuss, include the available data for each asset class (now and in the future), velocity of that data, quality of data, and then the ingestion, cleansing, and utilization of that data in “models” that determine an individual asset’s health/condition and risk of failure.
