Good afternoon, Asset Health Analytics Community Members!

We still need your input on the Asset Health Analytics Community survey. We only have 12 survey responses to date and we have 255 UAI members signed up to participate in this Community.

    TAKE THE POLL

Why do we need you to complete this survey? It is time to refill our topic bucket and help prioritize topics of discussion for future Asset Health Analytics Community Conversations. Our Community Conversations are better when we get your input and you help identify valuable, timely, and relevant use cases and topics of discussions for our meetings. With this poll, we want to…

    1. Identify asset categories you are focusing on within your utility, so we can deliver value for all identified asset categories.
    2. Gain an understanding of the asset health analytics use cases you are currently working on and ones you are most proud of from the past.
    3. We want to identify your successes, challenges, + topics you are interested in discussing.

    PLEASE TAKE THE POLL

Here is a direct link to the poll: https://www.menti.com/als6q1d8tm8a

    Thanks so much!

    Sincerely,

The Leadership Team, Asset Health Analytics Community

Hello Asset Health Analytics Community Members,

I hope all is well! We are one week away from our March (2023) Asset Health Analytics Community Conversation and want to get you excited about the session taking place. On Wednesday, March 22 at 2:00 PM CT, we’ll be joined by Alex Hong, Remote Sensing Data Platform Solutions Architect and Product Owner and Hamilton Erridge, Remote Sensing Data Platform Program Manager at Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E). As this discussion will be interactive, we encourage you to come prepared with questions and your insight.

Learn more about this session and our speakers below!

    Session Description:

Faced with an aging infrastructure, two decades of drought, and the devastation of California Wildfires, the session will demonstrate how the use of remote sensing technologies and Esri solutions manages images and mapping to provide utilities with the necessary tools to maintain compliance, manage assets, and reduce the risk of wildfires.
Pacific Gas and Electric Companywill provide a discussion and demonstration of how their company is using sensor data (images, LiDAR, and videos) specifically for mitigating risks associated with assets causing wildfires in Northern California.
Speaker: Alex Hong, Remote Sensing Data Platform Solutions Architect and Product Owner (PG&E)
In the past 25 years with PG&E, Alex Hong has held a variety of positions in IT from Operations to Enterprise Architecture before joining the GIS COE to help establish the remote sensing program. He has a B.S. in Nuclear Engineering from U.C. Berkeley and is a proud U.S. Navy veteran who served on the U.S.S. John Marshall, SSN-611.
Speaker: Hamilton Erridge, Remote Sensing Data Platform Program Manager (PG&E)
Hamilton is leading the charge on PG&E’s data platform, and in response to the Northern California Wildfires, was responsible for automating the collection of asset imagery using drones and helicopters. He has over 15 years delivering high impact solutions, driving transformational change, and has a B.A. in communication from Chapman University.
