Upcoming January (2024) Community Conversation
Hello Asset Health Analytics Community Members,
I hope all is well! We are one week away from our January (2024) Asset Health Analytics Community Conversation and want to get you excited about the session taking place. On Wednesday, January 24 at 2:00 PM CT, we’ll be joined by Colton Smith, Sr. Technical Leader – Nuclear Plant Modernization & Digital Transformation and Cassie Shaban, Sr. Technical Leader – Monitoring and Advanced Data Analytics, Generation Sector of EPRI who will be leading a discussion on, “Series Part 1: EPRI Digital Transformation Research Initiative (A Part of EPRI’s Asset Analytics Initiative).”
Learn more about this session and our speakers below!
Session Description:
Digital Transformation (DX) aims to elevate business operations and support a cultural change that broadly impacts an organization’s efficiency and value delivery. DX is not limited to the installation of digital tools and software; it is an extensive use of a digital infrastructure designed to create capabilities that improve and empower the workforce. In its ideal embodiment, DX removes inefficiencies, improves communication, creates intuitive human-device interaction, revamps processes, leverages data analytics, and optimization routines to realize sustainable benefits and improvements. In this Session, EPRI will provide an overview of select deliverables from 2023, and discuss the scope of the Digital Transformation Research initiative (DXRI), which is a new supplemental program aiming to unlock the full potential of DX by driving successful implementation across the power industry. Starting in 2024, the DXRI will perform research on the enabling and foundational technologies required to successfully digitally transform.
