    Hello Customer Analytics Community Members,

I hope all is well! We are one week away from our February (2022) Customer Analytics Community Conversation and want to get you excited about the session taking place. On Tuesday, February 8th at 11:00 AM CT, we’ll be joined by Community Sponsor Jeff Yankley, Director of Customer Insights & Analytics at Consumers Energy, who will be leading a discussion around, “Reduce Opt-outs and Customer Fatigue with Next Best Offer Modeling.” As this discussion will be interactive, we encourage you to come prepared with questions and your insight.

Learn more about this session and our speaker below!

    Session Description:

During this session, Jeff will present a Next Best Offer recommender model that advises what products or services would be best suited for their customers at any given point in time. This recommender model helps Consumers Energy reduce the amount of confusing communications they have with their customers by providing the right message to the right customer at the right time in the right channel.

Speaker: Jeff Yankley, Director of Customer Insights & Analytics (Consumers Energy)

Jeff Yankley is the Director of Director of Customer Intelligence & Analytics at Consumers Energy. In this role, Jeff works to mature the customer analytics and data science capabilities at Consumers Energy to enable value by connecting operational data to customer data, building predictive models for customer interactions, and knowing our customers so well to be able to build segments of “one”. The goal is to deliver the right product, to the right customer, in the right channel, at the right time, with the right message.

Jeff has spent 20+ years in the Information Technology field as a programmer, analyst, and in various leadership positions. He’s gone from developing solutions that gather data to being able to deliver the customer heartbeat and what it means to Consumers Energy.

Jeff has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan.

He enjoys reading, golfing, tinkering with cars, and home improvement projects.
