Happy New Year and I hope all is well! We are one week away from our January (2023) Customer Analytics Community Conversation and want to get you excited about the session taking place. On Tuesday, January 10 at 11:00 AM CT, we’ll be joined by the following speakers from Con Edison who will be leading a discussion around, “People Of New York, and the Quest for Meaningful Customer Segmentation.”

Session Description:
During this conversation, representatives from Con Edison will review how they began building out their self-service customer segmentation capabilities to enable greater insight into program participation, customer communications, and enhanced operational dashboards. The team took a crawl, walk, run approach to segmentation which initially included leveraging multiple data sources for demographic, psychographic, and geographic segmentation and then building machine learning models to create behavioral customer segments.
Speaker: Mark Van Name, Section Manager of Customer Analytics (Con Edison)
Mark is the Section Manager of Con Edison’s Customer Analytics tea which is responsible for an omni-channel customer analytics that is providing business intelligence to deliver personalized customer experiences, optimized business processes, and enhance data driven decision making. Prior to starting the analytics program, Mark built Con Edison’s Customer Journey Mapping team which is responsible for evaluating and improving customer experiences by utilizing human centered design and agile methodologies. Before joining Con Edison, Mark worked as a consultant for IBM focusing on customer experience transformations in the financial services industry.Speaker: Nick Walker, Program Manager, Customer Analytics (Con Edison)
