  Upcoming July (2023) Community Conversation

  Hello Customer Analytics Community Members,

  I hope all is well! We are just under one week away from our July (2023) Customer Analytics Community Conversation and want to get you excited about the session taking place. On Tuesday, July 11 at 11:00 AM CT, we’ll be joined by Melanie Wemple, Director of Client Success at E Source who will be leading a discussion around, “Predicting if Low to Moderate Income Customers Can/Will Pay, Customer Equity.” As this discussion will be interactive, we encourage you to come prepared with questions and your insight.

  Session Description:

  In this session, we explore the combination of data science with ethnographic research and how this helped utilities better understand their low to moderate income customer behavior. E Source will present their work on a collaboration with EEI to support three utilities in developing data-backed customer personas and micro-cohorts, enriching this data set with ethnographic research, and using these insights to develop innovative solution to help LMI customers better afford, manage and pay their bills.

  Speaker: Melanie Wemple, Director of Client Success (E Source)

  

  Melanie pioneers new and effective strategies to help E Source clients deliver improved customer experiences across all departments and channels–from the efficiency department to the call center, from field services to engineering to corporate communications. Her foundation is in research, analysis, and delivery and she is adept at putting complex topics related to distributed generation, energy efficiency, demand response, conservation, and human behavior into plain English.
