    Hello Customer Analytics Community Members,

Today’s session (1/9/24) was extremely interactive with lots of questions from members. We did not get to the last three questions in the chat box, so our presenter, @Hemanya, was kind enough to answer them via email after the session. Please find the questions and Hemanya’s responses below. Thanks so much!

    1. In the change of pattern, how do you deal with zero consumptions (that are not 11 continuous months)? Because those zero consumption months can all go to one of the halves (Question by @Mario)

This means there is a problem! If there are zeroes in the first half and no zeroes in the second half, we would want to investigate the reason for it. The only reason I can think of is that there was a meter change. And if so, any meter change should be incorporated in the modeling.

    1. Does the stopped meter metrics consider corresponding electricity usage? (e.g. 11 months of 0 gas usage but normal levels of electricity) (Question by @Sarah)

In our current version, it does not. But, in the future versions we are planning to incorporate it and that is why I mentioned it as a possible solution to identify vacancies. If not a metric, a nice line chart overlaying the electric and gas usage will help visually analyze such cases.

    1. Any governance put around this solution ? Data governance, information Governance? (Question by @Joyce)

Though there have been pilots sent out in the field, the formal solution that includes a web-application along with other system integrations is set to deploy this month. We will be taking up data governance related items as we rollout the solution.
