Hello Data Science Community Members,
I hope all is well! This is just a quick reminder to join us Monday, September 28th at 2:00 PM CT for an exciting discussion around, “Asset Failure Prediction Models.” Jhonny Di Girolamo, Asset Management Consultant, Asset Management Group at CenterPoint Energy, will be leading the discussion and taking questions throughout. Session Description:
Join the Data Science Community on September 28, 2020 from 2:00 – 3:00 pm CT to learn more about asset failure prediction models from Jhonny Di Girolamo, Asset Management Consultant, Asset Management Group at CenterPoint Energy. Jhonny has in-depth experience with Asset Management and Analytics and actively works with multiple teams from a business engineering perspective within CenterPoint Energy to deliver innovative solutions. Jhonny’s presentation will address and help us learn more about asset failure prediction models, including:
– What was the approach? What data was used? How was the model built? What tools? Where and how often does the model run?
– Challenges: building, integrating, deploying and maintaining the model(s).
– Probabilistic risk models – what’s the probability of the risk model – survival analysis modeling
– What’s the use case(s)?
– What are things that are common and would apply to every utility within your model(s)
Session Presenter: Jhonny Di GirolamoJhonny Di Girolamo is a Consultant in the Asset Management department at CenterPoint Energy. He has around twenty-five years’ experience in the electric power industry in various fields including engineering, operation & maintenance, planning and project management in electric transmission and distribution fields. His current job responsibilities include development of asset life cycle analytics for CenterPoint Energy’s assets. He has a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and MS Engineering. He is a member of EPRI’s task force committees relating to substation and distribution assets. He is registered as a Professional Engineer in the state of Texas.
