Happy Monday and I hope you all had a nice weekend! It’s hard to believe but UA Summit is just one week away and we’re very excited to meet with you all Monday, May 3^rd  at 1:30 PM CT (2:30 PM ET, 12:30 PM MT, 11:30 AM PT) for our May Data Science Community Conversation Natural Language Processing for Utilities. During this discussion we’ll hear from Community Leader Matt Wiseman, Sr. Data Scientist at Duke Energy, who will provide an overview of natural language processing (NLP) and use cases for the utility industry. His session will cover high-level theory, and some of the technical hands-on processes to develop NLP models. Speaker: Matt Wiseman (Sr. Data Scientist, Duke Energy)

Matt Wiseman is a data scientist on Duke Energy’s Data Science Innovations team utilizing machine learning and deep learning to develop AI solutions. Primarily focused on Python, projects have included analyzing images with AI and natural language processing.
