Hello Data Science Community Members,
I hope all is well! We are one week away from our February (2023) Data Science Community Conversation and want to get you excited about the session taking place. On Tuesday, February 21 at 1:00 PM CT, we’ll be joined by Chuck Hahm, Principal Data Scientist | Field Operations Strategy and Analytics at SDG&E who will be leading a discussion around, “An All-Python Graphical User Interface for Data Science and Real-Time Deployment: Practical Case Experience at San Diego Gas and Electric.” As this discussion will be interactive, we encourage you to come prepared with questions and your insight.
Learn more about this session and our speaker below!
Session Description:
There are multiple factors to consider when selecting the best graphical user interface for data science applications. In this talk, we share our experience with an all-python alternative that offers advantages over more widely deployed technologies that are oriented towards business applications. We offer an even-handed view that presents both the advantages and disadvantages of our all-python solution.
Speaker: Chuck Hahm, Principal Data Scientist | Field Operations Strategy and Analytics
Chuck Hahm is a Principal Data Scientist at San Diego Gas and Electric. Chuck’s data science experience spans a range of industries including medical devices, sensor analytics and cyber-security. Chuck holds an MS in Electrical Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology and has served as an adjunct faculty at National University in their graduate analytics program.
