I hope all is well! We are one week away from our August (2023) Data Science Community Conversation and want to get you excited about the session taking place. On Tuesday, August 15 at 1:00 PM CT, we’ll be joined by Adam Cornille, Sr. Director, Advanced Analytics and Alex Johnson, Lead Data Scientist at Logic 2020 who will be leading a discussion around, “Lessons Learned in MLOps.” As this discussion will be interactive, we encourage you to come prepared with questions and your inight.

Session Description:
In this session, our presenters will be sharing experiences and insights on MLOps, highlighting some of the key lessons learned in the process. Topics will include the importance of proper data management, version control, and automation in developing and deploying machine learning models at scale. Attendees will come away with a better understanding of the challenges and best practices involved in MLOps at the enterprise level, enabling them to optimize their own workflows and deliver more impactful results.
Speaker: Adam Cornille, Sr. Director, Advanced Analytics (Logic 2020)
Adam Cornille is a Director of Advanced Analytics and a data science practitioner with over a decade of field experience. He is trained in development, statistics, and agile analytics management practices. He leads the development of data science programs and strategies for improving business maturity in the application of data.
Speaker: Alex Johnson, Lead Data Scientist (Logic 2020)
Alex Johnson is a Lead Data Scientist and Machine Learning Engineer who is committed to solving real-world problems using cutting-edge technology. With a diverse background building analytics solutions in various industries such as tech, telecom, global health, and oil and gas, Alex brings a wealth of experience to the table. In recent years, he has been served in key roles within the utility sector, where he has been designing cloud-native systems to scale machine learning processes. His expertise in maturing analytics processes and improving decision-making around wildfire has been instrumental in mitigating the impact of these natural disasters on communities and the environment.
