  February 2021 Enterprise Analytics Follow Up + What’s Next

  Hello Enterprise Analytics Community Members,

  Thank you to everyone who attended our “Solve My Problem” session yesterday! For those unable to attend, we discussed solutions to the following challenges/problems:

  • Problem #1: What are your utilities practices for improving data quality, data validation, and data accessibility?
  • Problem #2: How is your utility monetizing data internally? What does your internal data monetization strategy look like? Can you share examples of internal data monetization? A simplified example for internal data monetization: You complete a project and save your company $1 million. In essence, you are monetizing data internally.

  Special thanks to Feltrin Davis, Sr. Manager, Advanced Analytics at Exelon Utilities, Eddy Halter, Sr. Director, Enterprise Analytics at Evergy, and Angela White-Parker, Enterprise Information Architect at Sempra Utilities for facilitating today’s discussion. Another special thank you to Feltrin’s team from BGE for joining and sharing their perspectives as well.

  1.) Next meeting Thursday, March 25:

  2.) Utility Analytics Summit
