Marie Clark – Analytics Center of Enablement Lead at Eversource

Marie Clark has led successful data management and analytic initiatives for 20+ years. She is a skilled intrapreneur, standing up data practices in various size companies in multiple industries – utilities, financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, and media. As a former Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt, Marie is process oriented and has a mindset of continuous improvement, which she applies to each new data practice. Currently, Marie is leading the Analytic Center of Enablement at Eversource, the goal of which is to accelerate the enterprise adoption of data-driven decision making and artificial intelligence.

Session Description:

As use case requests rapidly pick-up pace due to the importance of using analytics to make business decision across the enterprise, how are organizations prioritizing their use cases? Some organizations may use a consulting firm’s proprietary optimizer, others are looking at Gartner’s ROAR process, and some use an internal process for ingesting new use cases. What is your organization using to prioritize use cases? What does that process look like? How do you monetize the projects as they come in (earn revenue from or add value to the business)?

Join us for this session to learn how Eversource Energy ingests and prioritizes new use cases to ensure they are focused on delivering maximum business value. We will then take some time for Q&A and open discussion, so other utility members can share their use case intake and prioritization process.
