  Upcoming December (2021) Community Conversation

  Hello Enterprise Analytics Community Members,

  I hope all is well! We are one week away from our December (2021) Enterprise Analytics Community Conversation (part of this year’s virtual UA Week event) and want to get you excited about the session taking place. On Tuesday, December 7th at 1:30 PM CT, we’ll be joined by Tanya Mathur, Technology & Innovation Manager, Enterprise Analytics at Tennesee Valley Authority (TVA), who will be leading a discussion around, “TVA’s Enterprise Analytics Journey.” As this discussion will be interactive, we encourage you to come prepared with questions and your insight.

  Session Description:

  During this session, hear how TVA has grown their data and analytics capability across the enterprise by executing a strategy that supports data governance, use case development, modernizing analytics architecture, and empowering employees across the company with analytics skills and capability through a Data & Analytics Center of Excellence. TVA’s Enterprise Analytics team is a finalist for the 2021 UAI Best Utility Analytics Team Award and we are proud to showcase this presentation.

  Tanya Mathur manages the Enterprise Analytics group at the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA). She’s been with TVA for 20 years and has experience in power systems and operations, electrical engineering, energy forecasting, asset optimization, advanced analytics, and emerging technology. She developed TVA’s Analytics Strategy, TVA’s Data & Analytics Center of Excellence, is modernizing TVA’s Analytics Architecture and continues to execute the strategy and produce analytical products to promote innovation and data driven decision making.
