I hope all is well! We are one week away from our February (2023) Enterprise Analytics Community Conversation and want to get you excited about the session taking place. On Thursday, February 23rd at 1:00 PM CT, we’ll be joined by the following speakers who will be leading panel themed discussion around the topic, “Creating an Analytics Academy.”

Session Description:

Several Utility Members have created an analytics academy within their organization for training and certifications for internal employees. Learn how these utlities get their employees up to speed on analytis within their organizations and how they worked to set-up their analytics academies.

Speaker: Ankush Agarwal, Director, Grid T&D Analytics, Exelon

Ankush Agarwal is an innovative data analytics leader, with expertise in developing word-class analytics programs to enable a data-driven culture and transform operational and risk business functions. Recently named the director of Infrastructure Analytics at Exelon, Ankush is responsible for collaborating with business leaders and experts across the Exelon family of companies to develop and deploy an overall Infrastructure Grid T&D analytics strategy and platform.

Speaker: Po-Chen Chen, Data Science Mnaager, Exelon

Po-Chen Chen is currently the Manager of Data Science in the Infrastructure and Safety Analytics team in Exelon Corporation. Po-Chen has background in data science, power system engineering, and IT.

Speaker: Brad Steere, Director Operations Analytics, Consumers Energy

Brad Steere is the Director of Operations Analytics at Consumers Energy. Brad leads a team that enables the Analytics journey for CE Operations. His team is responsible for delivering transformational data and technology products that enable Consumers Energy to make better decisions while streamlining the use of technologies in the emerging environment. 

Speaker: Sarah Green, Data & Analytic Services Manager, Consumers Energy

Sarah Green is the Data & Analytic Services Manager for Consumers Energy, leading the team responsible for the company’s overall analytic strategy, reporting and analytic platforms, and data and analytics talent enablement. She has been working in the data space for nearly a decade.  

Speaker: Prasenjit Shil, Manager, Digital Innovation, Ameren

Prasenjit is actively shaping the future of the electric grid, utility operation and decision making through analytics, Lean/Continuous improvement, innovation and disruption. He Influences strategic decision making by providing predictive and descriptive analysis.

Speaker: Ann Toy, Lead Business Translator, Enterprise Analytics, Evergy

Ann Toy is a Lead Business Translator in the BI and Data Analytics team at Evergy. As part of her role, she continues to facilitate, promote and support cross enterprise analytics and automation, and upskilling the organization including launching and supporting Evergy Analytics University as well as other learning opportunities to Evergy employees.
