    Hello Enterprise Analytics Community Members,

    I hope all is well! With May just kicking off, I wanted to reach out and get you excited for our May (2023) Enterprise Analytics Community Conversation. On Thursday, May 25 at 1:00 PM CT we’ll be joined by Katie Hanners, Sr. Manager, Digital Centers of Excellence and Shonda Hammond, Senior Manager – Analytical Tools & Methods at TVA who will be leading a discussion around, “Igniting Innovation through Digital Centers of Excellence.”

    I hope all is well! We are one week away from our May
     (2023) Enterprise Analytics Community Conversation and want to get you excited about the session taking place. On Thursday, May 25 at 1:00 PM CT, we’ll be joined by Katie Hanners, Senior Manager, Digital Centers of Excellence and Shonda Hammond, Senior Manager – Analytical Tools & Methods at TVA who will be leading a discussion around, “Igniting Innovation through Digital Centers of Excellence.” As this discussion will be interactive we encourage you to come prepared with questions and your insight.

    Session Description:

    TVA has rolled out five Digital Centers of Excellence focusing on upskilling the enterprise on the use of business enabled technologies and allowing for the experimentation and adoption of emerging technologies including AI/ML to robotics to AR/VR to IoT/edge devices to 3D printing, etc. This session will provide an overview of TVA’s journey to develop Digital Centers of Excellence and provide a glimpse in how each are playing a role in igniting innovation at TVA.

    Speaker: Katie Hanners, Senior Manager, Digital Centers of Excellence (TVA)


    Katie Hanners leads the Process Automation, Enterprise Productivity, Internet of Things, and Innovation Digital Centers of Excellence and provides governance for the Data & Analytics Center of Excellence.  Prior to joining the TVA team 1.5 years ago, she worked in various non-profit leadership roles and brings more than 20 years’ experience with program development, relationship management, and stakeholder engagement.  Her current focus areas for TVA’s Centers of Excellence include scaling and maturing CoE offerings, providing value to business partners through the deployment of high value solutions, and upskilling the enterprise on self-service technologies. 

    Speaker: Shonda Hammond, Senior Manager – Analytical Tools & Methods (TVA)


    Shonda Hammond leads the areas of reporting, analytics, and data science within TVA’s Enterprise Analytics and Innovation organization. She also oversees the Data and Analytics Center of Excellence. Shonda joined TVA in 2021, bringing over 20 years of experience in Data and Analytics, Information Technology, and Financial Leadership across the Chemicals and Food/Beverage industries. Her current focus is on shaping an analytics technology roadmap that aligns with business strategy and drives innovation across the organization. She is passionate about empowering business partners with analytical tools and skills to generate transformative insights for improved decision-making.
