  Hello Enterprise Analytics Community Members,

  Thanks for attending the May 25, 2023 Enterprise Analytics Community Conversation! For those unable to attend, we missed you and look forward to seeing you online next month. During this Community Conversation we were joined by  Katie Hanners, Senior Manager, Digital Centers of Excellence and Shonda Hammond, Senior Manager – Analytical Tools & Methods at TVA who led a discussion around, “Igniting Innovation through Digital Centers of Excellence.”

  2.) Utility Analytics Training – Register Today (Virtual and In-Person) for 2023!

  – UAI offers several training delivery options that help professionals improve skills from traditional public instructor-led classroom, which provides group learning experiences, to fully immersive training at home or in the office via our virtual classroom offering. UAI even provides private group training, so we could train your entire team at one time.

  3.) Submit your Nominations for the 2023 UAI Excellence Awards

  – Validation feels pretty good, and acknowledgement and celebration go a long way toward keeping employees satisfied, teams performing at a high level, and leadership engaged. Get the recognition you deserve with a UAI Excellence Award!

  4.) Algorithm Alley – Brand New *UTILITY ONLY Resource on UAI Connect!

  – Algorithm Alley Link: https://connect.utilityanalytics.com/collaborate/algorithm-alley
  
  – Algorithm Alley is designed to help members share and collaborate on various forms of code, a resource heavily designed for our growing data science audience.

  – Currently divided into four categories (Data Engineering, Data Visualization, Machine Learning Algorithms, and Programming) members will have the option of perusing through different entries while also being able to upload their own content. Furthermore, members can like/upvote certain entries and interact publicly or privately with each author.

  5.) Join us at UA Week 2023 in Orlando, FL!

  – Location: Orlando, FL at Loews Potrofino Bay Hotel at Universal Orlando Resort

  – Utility Analytics Week is an annual conference that demonstrates how utilities can leverage analytics to gain new insights and solve business challenges. Attendees network with industry peers, share ideas, and leave empowered to utilize analytics to increase value across their organization.

  6.) Contribute a High Value Use Case for our Upcoming Repository

  – The high value analytics use case form is for collecting information about planned, underway, or complete high value analytics use cases.

  – The Executive Advisory Council (EAC) requests the collection of these use cases each year. The collected information is for UAI member utility company representatives only.

  – All of our members have a different story to tell which is what makes the UAI Community great! Share what projects you’re working on at your utility by being a speaker during a future community conversation.
