    Strategic Advisory Board (SAB) UPDATE

    • The SAB has finalized their Mission and Charter…we will share it with the EAC in our meeting follow-up.
    • We will be replacing a UAI Strategic Advisory Board member from Grant County PUD. The Grant County PUD representative left the Utility. We will be looking for a replacement with similar role and utility type and size.
    • The SAB Charter says the following about replacement members:
    • “Subsequent EAC members may by nominated for appointment by both UAI staff and the members of the EAC. Members shall represent a cross-section of the UAI members and collectively they shall match the make-up of the UAI membership.
    • Should a EAC member be unable to complete his/her term for any reason, a replacement EAC member may be selected to serve out the term of the vacated position. The option to offer a replacement a full 2-year term will be left to the discretion of the EAC members as long as the balance of EAC membership is maintained as defined by the rotation schedule.
    • Positions and vacancies are filled as the EAC requires, specifically if there are specific areas of expertise required to meet the needs of the service population.

                      • A deep dive into the theoretical concepts of data and how we can apply them to real life scenarios in utilities
