    Hello Grid Analytics Community Members,

I hope all is well! We have a very exciting Community Conversation planned for this month and hope you all can join us. On Wednesday, March 17th at 1:00 PM CST, we’ll be joined by Brad Gall, Senior Data Architect, Connected Analytics at The Energy Authority (TEA) who will be leading a discussion on “Getting More Dollars from your CVR Events.” During this discussion we’ll hear directly from The Energy Authority (TEA) on the successes of a  “Voltage Insights” service they recently worked on with a PJM member. See below to learn more about this session and our presenter Brad.

Brad Gall – Senior Data Architect, Connected Analytics at The Energy Authority

Brad Gall is a Cloud Data Architect with over 20 years’ experience in Information Technology and Data Analytics. Working primarily with Microsoft data platforms, Brad has successfully delivered data driven projects across multiple industries in both corporate and consulting roles. In his current role as Senior Data Architect with The Energy Authority, Brad works on the Connected Analytics team to help utilities leverage value from the increasing amount of data pouring in from big data sources such as Smart Meters.

    Session Description:

The Energy Authority (TEA) provides analytics solutions to our utility members. A recent success was to provide one of our PJM members with a service known as Voltage Insights that provides financial analysis on savings potential from an existing CVR program. Our Voltage Insights service allows them to interrogate their CVR events and test ‘what-if’ scenarios on voltage drops by feeder lines to identify areas for distribution cost savings, maintenance needs as well as infrastructure upgrades. In this session we will discuss how we delivered this service to leverage the utility’s AMI data for increased revenue from their monthly CVR program.
