Hello Grid Analytics Community Members,
I hope all is well! With July just kicking off, I wanted to reach out and get you excited for our July (2023) Grid Analytics Community Conversation. On Wednesday, July 19th at 1:00 PM CT, we’ll be joined by Ken McCabe, Sr. Data Scientist at Pepco Holdings who will be leading a discussion around, “NLP in Project Management: Open-Source Libraries for High Value Descriptive Analytics.”

I hope all is well! We are one week away from our July (2023) Grid Analytics Community Conversation and want to get you excited about the session taking place. On Wednesday, July 19 at 1:00 PM CT, we’ll be joined by Ken McCabe, Sr. Data Scientist at Pepco Holdings who will be leading a discussion around, “NLP in Project Management: Open-Source Libraries for High Value Descriptive Analytics.”As this discussion will be interactive, we encourage you to come prepared with questions and your insight.

Session Description:
This session will focus on the various open source tools practicing data scientists can use to perform NLP analysis. A high-level use case will be provided as context for the duration of the discussion. The session will appeal most to practicing data scientists as it dives deep into the mechanics of specific Python libraries used for Natural Language Processing.
Speaker: Ken McCabe, Sr. Data Scientist (Pepco Holdings)
Ken McCabe is a Sr. Data Scientist at Pepco Holdings – An Exelon Company. In addition to this role, he also serves as Community Engagement Chair for the Washington D.C. chapter of Developing Young Professionals (DYP), an Exelon Employee Resource Group. He holds a B.A. and MBA specializing in Data Analytics & Digital Technologies from Loyola University Maryland.
