  Upcoming November (2023) Community Conversation

  Hello Grid Analytics Community Members,

  I hope all is well! We are one week away from our November (2023) Grid Analytics Community Conversation and want to get you excited about the session taking place. On Wednesday, November 15 at 1:00 PM CT, we’ll be joined by Adam Peretti, Manager, AMI Technology at Snohomish County PUD who will be leading a discussion on, “Developing Hourly (576) Load Profiles for Substation and Feeders using SCADA Data.” As this discussion will be interactive, we encourage you to come prepared with questions and your insight.

  Session Description:

  This presentation explores the creation of hourly load profiles for substations and feeders utilizing SCADA data. It delves into an algorithmic process to eliminate outliers and scale loading to align with peak- and min-day weather data. Linear regression and clustering algorithms are leveraged to construct a distinct daily load model for each month of each circuit. The overall aim is to enhance the modeling capabilities of our planning software and prepare for our future planning with Distributed Energy Resources (DERS).

  Speaker: Adam Peretti, Manager, AMI Technology (Snohomish County PUD)

  

  Bringing a breadth of utility experience from Snohomish County PUD, Adam Peretti has cultivated a strong foundation over 12 years in roles such as Distribution and Standards Engineer, DER Planner, and currently, Manager of AMI Technologies. His educational credentials include a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering from Washington State University and a Master’s in Computer Science from Georgia Tech University, equipping him with a distinctive combination of knowledge and practical skill.
