    Hello Grid Analytics Community Members, 
     
     
    Thanks for attending the January 16, 2024 Grid Analytics Community Conversation! For those unable to attend, Happy New Year! We missed you and look forward to seeing you online in February. During this Community Conversation we were joined by Larry Gasteiger, Executive Director at WIRES who led a discussion on, Why the U.S. Electric Grid Lags Behind in the Energy Transition.”

    1.) Next Community Conversation – February 21, 2024 at 1:00 PM CT

    2.) Join us at UAS 2024! – Save $200 When You Register Before 3/1/2024

    3.) Utility Analytics Training – Register Today (Virtual and In-Person) for 2023 and 2024!

    – UAI offers several training delivery options that help professionals improve skills from traditional public instructor-led classroom, which provides group learning experiences, to fully immersive training at home or in the office via our virtual classroom offering. UAI even provides private group training, so we could train your entire team at one time.

    4.) Algorithm Alley – UTILITY ONLY Resource on UAI Connect! 
     
     
    – Algorithm Alley Link: https://connect.utilityanalytics.com/collaborate/algorithm-alley 
     
    – Algorithm Alley is designed to help members share and collaborate on various forms of code, a resource heavily designed for our growing data science audience. 


     
    – Currently divided into four categories (Data Engineering, Data Visualization, Machine Learning Algorithms, and Programming) members will have the option of perusing through different entries while also being able to upload their own content. Furthermore, members can like/upvote certain entries and interact publicly or privately with each author. 
     
     
    5.) Contribute a High Value Use Case for our Upcoming Repository

    – The high value analytics use case form is for collecting information about planned, underway, or complete high value analytics use cases. 


     
    – The Executive Advisory Council (EAC) requests the collection of these use cases each year. The collected information is for UAI member utility company representatives only. 

     

    6.) Speak During a Future Community Conversation!

    – All of our members have a different story to tell which is what makes the UAI Community great! Share what projects you’re working on at your utility by being a speaker during a future community conversation. 
     
    – Remember, you don’t have to be at the end of your journey to share …sharing along the way is a valuable part of the process and could ultimately help you make adjustments and improvements.

We are actively looking for new leadership team members in our AAT, Asset Health, Grid Analytics, Natural Gas, and Safety Analytics Communities.
