Back by Popular Demand – UAI’s Natural Gas Analytics Community
Dear UAI Natural Gas Analytics Community Members,
We are excited to announce that we are bringing back the Natural Gas Analytics Community due to popular demand! As a current member of this UAI Community, we ask you to re-engage.
We will soon start meeting on a monthly basis again, starting in April, on the third Wednesday of each month at 9:00 am PDT / 10:00 am MDT / 11:00 am CDT / 12:00 pm EDT for one hour. There may be some special longer sessions at the kick-off to do some member engagement exercises to help us all get reacquainted and get to know each other even better, setting us up for more interactive, collaborative meetings moving forward.
We will be sending out more information regarding the meeting schedule soon, including a calendar invite from Kevin Praet, UAI’s membership coordinator, to save the monthly date of the regularly scheduled meetings on your calendar. Please keep an eye out for this reoccurring meeting invite from Kevin via email.
In the meantime, we have re-grouped the Community sponsors and leaders to work on refreshing the charter and scope for the Community (we will share with you once finalized), as well as collaborating to guide the community’s strategic direction and working to build out the monthly meeting content, meeting agendas, and group deliverables, planning out ahead of time as much as possible.
I am happy to introduce our Community sponsors and leaders and send a BIG thank you to each of them for their time and commitment to drive successful Natural Gas Analytics Community meetings and add tremendous value to your UAI membership. Please meet and welcome our sponsors and leaders by replying to this discussion post. Don’t be afraid to reply with a big thank you and hello! We want to know that you are out there looking forward to upcoming UAI Natural Gas Analytics Community meetings. :-)
Community Sponsors:
- Rod Boswell, Director Data Analytics, NiSource
- Zac Lowe, Director, Pipeline Safety Management, Southern Company
Community Leaders
- Catherine McCowan, Manager, Asset Management, Enbridge
- David Baron, Director, Performance Management and Organizational Strategy, Sempra
- Eric Frank, Gas Planning Manager, Madison Gas & Electric Co
Also in the meantime, this online community site has been moved out of the archives and is active once again. We saved all the past content and meeting materials from last year in the library. We also ask that you use the discussion forum to post your questions to each other and enjoy collaboration online on a regular basis.
We will be announcing the re-launch of the UAI Natural Gas Analytics Community to all UAI members next Wednesday, March 18, 2020, inviting anyone interested in joining the group to submit a request to join, which they can do here: https://member.utilityanalytics.com/communities/current-communities. Feel free to pass this link along to anyone within your utility to make them aware of the re-launch and encourage them to join us!
If the UAI Natural Gas Analytics Community is not the right Community for you, make sure to find the right fit. Also, you are not limited to joining only one UAI Community. So, please submit a request to join any of UAI’s five Communities.
If you have questions or need more information about the UAI Natural Gas Analytics Community and/or other UAI Communities, please reply to this discussion post. We are happy to answer any questions you may have.
Thank you and we look forward to seeing you at a future UAI Natural Gas Analytics Community meeting!
Cheers!
Leslie
