Recording for September 2022 Community Conversation + Next Month’s Details + Announcements
Hello Natural Gas Analytics Community Members,
Thanks for attending the September 21, 2022 Natural Gas Analytics Community Conversation! For those unable to attend, we missed you and look forward to seeing you in-person next month. During this Community Conversation, we were joined by David Bucholtz, Data Analytics Manager – Gas Asset Mgmt and Perf at PECO and Amir Ismail, Assoc Engineer at PECO who led a discussion around, “DEI in Action – Evaluating Incidence of Gas Events and Response in Vulnerable Communities.”
During this session, our speakers provided four post questions which I have included below. Please feel free to provide your input by replying to this post directly or to me privately. We would love to get your perspective!
1.Does your utility have a focus on DEI? How does analytics support that initiative?
2.Have you done a similar exercise to identify potential areas of structural bias?
3.What other areas could SVI data be applied to within your organization?
4.What recommendations would you make for approaching this type of analysis?
Please find the recording and presentation deck for this Community Conversation in the library. If you haven’t taken our post-meeting evaluation, please take a minute and complete it at the following link:https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/UAIComm2022Next month, our October Natural Gas Analytics Community Conversation will be taking place LIVE and in-person at UA Week 2022.
