Hello Natural Gas Analytics Community Members,
I hope all is well! We are one week away from the January (2024) Natural Gas Analytics Community Conversation and want to get you excited about the session taking place. On Wednesday, January 17 at 11:00 AM CT, we’ll be joined by Tom Trinh, Workforce Planning Program Manager and Young Park, Data Scientist at SoCal Gas who will be leading a discussion on, “How SoCalGas is Implementing Workforce Planning Optimization” As this discussion will be interactive, we encourage you to come prepared with questions and your insight.

Session Description:
Join us as SoCalGas unveils insights from their efforts to reimagine, modernize, and implement their workforce planning optimization capabilities. In this session, Tom and Young will cover their vision, framework, challenges, accomplishments, and lessons learned.
Speaker: Tom Trinh, Workforce Planning Program Manager (SoCal Gas)
Tom Trinh has 17 years of service at SoCalGas, with diverse expertise in operations, analytics, continuous improvement, project management, and regulatory affairs. His career has culminated in his current role where he led the development and execution of workforce planning initiatives for the company.
Speaker: Young Park, Data Scientist (SoCal Gas)
Young Park has 10 years of service at fortune 500 companies, with expertise in financial analytics, management consulting, and data science. Young’s focus has been on leveraging analytics to help business units make data driven decisions and developing new capabilities to advance the organization on the analytics maturity curve.
