- What: Safety Analytics Community Conversation – “Scientifically Proven Safety“: This session will discuss three projects performed as a partnership between construction industry safety leaders and a team of researchers at the University of Colorado through the Construction Safety Research Alliance (CSRA). These projects aim to move the safety profession, including related analytics, away from theory and toward defendable science. Topics include the statistical invalidity of TRIR, energy-based safety, and measuring the quality of safety leading indicator activities.

Mike Quashne, Manager, Performance Assessment and Business Transformation at Baltimore Gas & Electric
Mike Quashne is the Performance Assessment and Business Transformation Manager for Baltimore Gas & Electric. In this role, he is responsible for leadership of BGE’s human performance improvement, corrective action, and SIF prevention programs. Mike is also a member of the Board of Advisors for the Construction Safety Research Alliance.
