I hope all is well! We are one week away from our July Safety Analytics Community Conversation and want to get you excited about the session taking place. On Tuesday, July 27 at 2:00 PM CT, We’ll be joined by Jonathan (Jon) Rosen, Utility Analytics Manager at American Electric Power (AEP), who will be leading a discussion around, “A Tale of Continuous Improvement – Underground Damage Prevention: 811 Call Before You Dig at AEP.” As this discussion will be interactive, we urge you to come prepared with questions and ready to share your input.

Through the last 5 years AEP has implemented process improvement and advanced technology to greatly improve operations of their underground damage prevention services group. These changes have revolved around striking an optimal balance of safety, customer service, and financial considerations.

Speaker: Jonathan (Jon) Rosen, Utility Analytics Manager at American Electric Power (AEP)

Jonathan Rosen is currently the Utilities Analytics Manager within the Business Operations and Performance Assurance organization at AEP. Current responsibilities include leading a team dedicated to advanced data studies and the Go-to-market of in house or vendor analytics products that benefit efficiency. Prior to this, Jonathan was a data scientist applying machine learning to work management and asset health problems; Rosen holds a bachelor’s degree from Miami University.
