Upcoming December (2021) Community Conversation
Hello Safety Analytics Community Members,
I hope all is well! We are one week away from our December (2021) Safety Analytics Community Conversation (part of this year’s virtual UA Week event) and want to get you excited about the session taking place. On Tuesday, December 7th at 10:00 AM CT, we’ll be joined by Tawny Young, SMS Technology & Analytics Team Lead, Safety Management Systems and Sophia Irvine, Safety Programs Advisor from SoCalGas, who will be leading a discussion around, “Musculoskeletal Analytics: Preventing the Pains of Sprains and Strains.” As this discussion will be interactive, we encourage you to come prepared with questions and your insight.
Learn more about this session and our speakers below!
Session Description:
During this session, SoCalGas will share a use case on how they are preventing and mitigating musculoskeletal injuries. The purpose of this use case is to better understand what the trends are in ergonomic data that could help identify, analyze and control workplace risk factors that reduce musculoskeletal injuries, so they can reduce costs and risks of musculoskeletal disorders and increase employee productivity and morale.
The SoCalGas Safety Management Systems department champions the “Safety First” culture in first identifying one of the most common injuries through analytics and responding accordingly by promoting various safety programs and resources that help prevent and mitigate musculoskeletal injuries.
