Hello Safety Analytics Community Members,

I hope all is well! We are one week away from our June (2022) Safety Analytics Community Conversation and want to get you excited about the session taking place. On Tuesday, June 28th at 2:00 PM CT, we’ll be joined by @Kai, Sr. Integrity Assessments Engineer at Enbridge Gas who will be leading a discussion around,“Enbridge Gas Safety Analytics.” As this discussion will be interactive we encourage you to come prepared with questions and your insight.

Session Description:

This session will provide an overview of the risk & reliability modelling that Enbridge performs in order to ensure gas transmission system integrity and safety. The presentation will cover an overview of the probability of failure and consequence of failure models used to assess gas transmission system risk, and the evaluation of these risks against safety risk acceptance criteria.

Speaker: Kai Ji, Sr. Integrity Assessments Engineer (Enbridge Gas)

@Kai is an engineer specializing in risk & reliability assessments at Enbridge Gas. He works on the development of gas transmission and distribution risk models and has been with Enbridge since 2016. Kai holds a Bachelor of Applied Science from the University of Toronto and is a registered Professional Engineer in the province of Ontario.
