  Upcoming January (2023) Community Conversation

  Hello Safety Analytics Community Members,

  I hope all is well! We are one week away from our January (2023) Safety Analytics Community Conversation and want to get you excited about the session taking place. On Tuesday, January 24th at 2:00 PM CT, we’ll be joined by Bob Keller, Senior Safety & HP Lead at Nebraska Public Power District who will be leading a discussion around,“Learning What Not To Do with Safety Analytics.” As this discussion will be interactive, we encourage you to come prepared with questions and your insight.

  Session Description:

  At NPPD, the reporting, tracking and trending have been completed in a proprietary system that was created in the 1980’s in an Oracle database and is still in use today. This system was good when initially built but has outlived its ability to perform at today’s fast paced requirement for data and the need for information for making good decisions.

  Bob Keller spent the first 21 years of his career working in Civil Engineering from designing roadways, storm sewers, sanitary sewers, water and whatever else came his way. In 2011, Bob took a job in the Safety Department at NPPD and has been successful at becoming a Certified Safety Professional and his interests in Safety have taken him to becoming more proactive in Safety as opposed to being reactive.
