Hello Safety Analytics Community Members,

I hope all is well! We are one week away from our July (2023) Safety Analytics Community Conversation and want to get you excited about the session taking place. On Tuesday, July 25 at 2:00 PM CT, we’ll be joined by Todd Gallaher, Principal Manager, Edison Safety at SCE who will be leading a discussion around, “EEI’s Power to Prevent SIF Initiative in collaboration with CSRA.” As this discussion will be interactive, we encourage you to come prepared with questions and your insight.

Session Description:

EEI’s SIF initiative called High Energy Control Assessment (HECA). This session answers the question of what can we do to prevent SIFs before they happen.

Speaker: Todd Gallaher, Principal Manager, Edison Safety (SCE)

Todd Gallaher is the Principal Manager of Health & Safety at Southern California Edison. He oversees the company’s Incident Management System, Corrective Action Program, OSHA Recordkeeping, and Safety Analytics departments. He has 30+ years of experience in the utility industry. Todd has expertise in Cause Analysis and Serious Injuries & Fatalities. He is very involved in the industry and researching and educating others in Serious Injury & Fatality Prevention and Cause Analysis. He is the Vice Chairperson of the Edison Electric Institutes OSHA Committee, he is on the safety steering committees for the North American Transmission Forum, National Safety Council, and an active member of the Construction Research Alliance.
