Hello Kevin,

 

I am trying to download the January 18 (2022) Data Science Community Conversation – Storytelling with Data (Speaker: Sabine Devins, Digital storyteller, content maker, and speaker) but I get the message that I am now allowed to do that? I did attend in person and thought it was a great presentation. How do I get access to this content?

Happy Friday! I hope everyone’s had a great start to their 2022s and are getting ready for an exciting month of UAI Community Conversations. Of the sessions taking place this month, we wanted to make you aware of our Data Science Community Conversation (taking place Tuesday, January 18th at 1:00 PM CT) which will be one of the more different (but exciting!) formats we’ve explored to date. The topic is also something we’ve been hearing several members ask about.

During this session we’ll be joined by Sabine Devins (Digital Story Teller, Content Maker, & Speaker) out of Berlin, Germany who will be leading an interactive discussion around, “Storytelling with Data.” During this session, Sabine will take us through the fundamentals of finding a story, crafting a story and presenting a story with examples from her work as the Managing Editor of the award-winning INFO.GRAPHICS digital magazine. As a group, we’ll look at the stories and how we applied certain principles and how and why to apply storytelling to our work.

Given the topic and interactive format, we want to open this session to all UAI Utility Members. If this session sounds interesting to you and you are not part of the Data Science Community, please send me a message at kpraet@utilityanalytics.com so I can forward you over the invite.
