  2022 Analytics Ambassador Award – Nominate Today!

  Hello UAI Members,

  With just a little over 2 months left to nominate for the 2022 UAI Excellence Awards, we wanted to reach out today and get you excited about another award category, the ANALYTICS AMBASSADOR AWARD. This award honors representatives within the utility analytics industry for their leadership, enthusiasm, and all-around contributions to the utility analytics profession. To get you even more excited about this year’s award, we encourage you to go out and listen to our 2021 UAI Analytics Ambassador Winner, Kim Gaddy, during her acceptance speech at Utility Analytics Week 2021. Kim embodies what it means to be a true Analytics Ambassador and we’re fortunate to have her as a great example.

  This award recognizes the lasting contributions, leadership, enthusiasm, and tireless efforts of industry luminaries who’ve committed themselves to elevating the reputation of the utility analytics profession and improving the industry.

  UAI’s panel of judges selects the nominees, and industry professionals are welcome to send nominee suggestions by completing the nomination form. We use the following criteria to evaluate their accomplishments in and dedication to the utility analytics industry:  

  • The candidate has been active in the utility analytics industry for at least 10 years. 
  • The candidate has made noteworthy contributions to the industry, including (but not limited to):  

  • Providing thought leadership on the industry’s strategy and direction 
  • Sitting on the boards of industry organizations 
  • Providing industry mentorship and leadership 
  • Contributing timely content to industry publications 
  • Providing input on or helping develop industry research 
  • Influencing industry best practices, standards, or frameworks 

  • The candidate has demonstrated dedication to his or her own professional growth and the growth and success of the industry as a whole.

Nominating an individual or a team for an award is a true act of recognizing that person’s or team’s efforts and hard work, and a wonderful way to celebrate achievement and excellence through innovation.
