Kevin and UAI team and family – Always a good thing for folks to share photos and stories about their pets, and we get to know each other a little more, so thanks for doing this.
Pictured is Koda in a photo taken about a month ago, by our Office Manager for our Pet Wall at AES Louisville (Colorado) office; she emailed it to me and only one avail for quick post (so forgive the human posing in the pic).Sadly, since this photo was taken, our family had to put him down about a week ago after steady limp turned out to be terminal illness. He was adopted from Pulaski County, VA Shelter (near Roanoke, where Gavin and I were Girl Scout dads) and is my daughter Mattie’s dog since age 9. He since travelled and lived in VA, GA, NM, TX, NV and now CO and guarded our homes. I called him “the People’s Dog” because at dog parks he went to them 1st, dogs 2nd. Thanks-

It has been fun (and a welcome distraction) to see all of the pictures and clever posts. Here are my 3 (yes, 3 – long story): Sydney (Shih Zsu 16), Benny (toy poodle mix rescue 7) and Cocoa Puff (mini Australian Labradoodle 7). We thought rats were eating our tomatoes, but discovered little Benny was actually able to jump up on the raised bed! Sydney is the sweetest ever and there are no words for Cocoa Puff – she is hilarious and will go nowhere without her ball. They are all my staff and hang out with me. :) My husband gets the cat.

You will then scroll down to “Community Notifications” and update the settings on any of the communities in your list to your preference. Subject: UAI Connect Engagement Challenge Reminder + Share Your Favorite Pet Picture and Earn Points!Hello UAI Members,
I hope all is well! It’s been two weeks since we launched the 2022 UAI Connect Engagement Challenge and wanted to thank all of those that have taken time to get involved. This challenge is designed to help you maximize your experience on UAI Connect and make the most of the various resources that are available to you.
Just a quick reminder on the rules: The UAI Connect Engagement Challenge is open to all current UAI members (both utility and solution provider members) and is designed to help you maximize your engagement throughout UAI Connect. As part of this game, we provide clear direction on how to get more involved and how to make the most of your experience on UAI Connect. By getting more involved within UAI’s communities, discussions forums, and completing your profile on UAI Connect (just to name a few things), you will in turn gain more value from the network on UAI Connect, which includes some of the brightest and smartest minds within utility analytics. For a complete breakdown of how to earn points during this game and the scoring, please refer to our “UAI Connect Engagement Challenge Scoring Sheet” found in the Ask Your Network Library.
In addition to getting more active on Connect, we will be selecting three winners at the end of December (to be announced Wednesday, January 4, 2022) based off of their scoring. Please note our scoring will only include data between July 20 and December 16, 2022, and previous scores will not be included.
Just in case you’re still not excited, see what great prizes we have picked out for our winners!

To help you get started with some “easy points” I wanted to start a discussion thread below sharing pictures of our favorite pets! With many of us still working from home, our pets have become some of our best friends during the work day and often times make appearances on our various calls. Unfortunately, as many of you know, I can’t have pets in my current house but I’m happy to share a picture of my parent’s dog “Turbo” (who’s really my dog anyway).
