I have to show my Charo (yes, for the old ones in the group, like in the Love Boat). She was found in a parking lot of a school where my friend is a teacher. She has 2 fur siblings, Lolita and Benito J

She is also trying to become a TikTok super star. Look her up “Charo Cuchi”  on TikTok

I love any opportunity to share pictures of my fur kids! :-) This is Indio (Blue Merle Mini Aussie) and Charley (Aussie Mix). They are two peas in a pod. They make regular appearances on video during Teams meetings.

    Hello UAI Members,

I hope all is well! It’s been two weeks since we launched the 2022 UAI Connect Engagement Challenge and wanted to thank all of those that have taken time to get involved. This challenge is designed to help you maximize your experience on UAI Connect and make the most of the various resources that are available to you.

Just a quick reminder on the rules: The UAI Connect Engagement Challenge is open to all current UAI members (both utility and solution provider members) and is designed to help you maximize your engagement throughout UAI Connect. As part of this game, we provide clear direction on how to get more involved and how to make the most of your experience on UAI Connect. By getting more involved within UAI’s communities, discussions forums, and completing your profile on UAI Connect (just to name a few things), you will in turn gain more value from the network on UAI Connect, which includes some of the brightest and smartest minds within utility analytics. For a complete breakdown of how to earn points during this game and the scoring, please refer to our “UAI Connect Engagement Challenge Scoring Sheet” found in the Ask Your Network Library.

In addition to getting more active on Connect, we will be selecting three winners at the end of December (to be announced Wednesday, January 4, 2022) based off of their scoring. Please note our scoring will only include data between July 20 and December 16, 2022, and previous scores will not be included.

Just in case you’re still not excited, see what great prizes we have picked out for our winners!

To help you get started with some “easy points” I wanted to start a discussion thread below sharing pictures of our favorite pets! With many of us still working from home, our pets have become some of our best friends during the work day and often times make appearances on our various calls. Unfortunately, as many of you know, I can’t have pets in my current house but I’m happy to share a picture of my parent’s dog “Turbo” (who’s really my dog anyway).

Have a favorite pet picture? Share below!

Thanks again and best of luck in the 2022 UAI Connect Engagement Challenge!

Like Leslie I will take any opportunity to show off my fur kids!  Miss Maybell has been with me for about 9 years now and she is loving me working from home.  Clay and Mason are COVID kitties that were found at a masonry, hence the names even though they are girls.

Ruby, is wondering why I’m sitting Mom’s office. She’s missing her brother Leo who went to
doggy heaven in December. We’re hoping to find another one or two colleagues so she has posse when
    we’re out .

    This is a fun challenge!

I have Piper – our 170lbs English Mastiff and her best friend 35lb basset hound Stormy.  Most of the time I break up their “play time” because Stormy is hurting her big sister.  Love seeing all the pictures!

    My original fur baby.

Sent this to be silly. Enjoying all the pet pictures, since I no longer have fur babies. Through our married life we had two cats and three dogs.

I love this topic! I have 2 cats.
Before I adopted Jaws, he had been hit by a car and had his jaw wired for 5 months. He loves to sit in front of my computer screens while I work.

Old Man Bob was a street cat and had to have all of his teeth removed. He loves to sitting on the patio with me during work breaks.

This is Willow. When we adopted her from a rescue shelter a few years ago, she was 8 weeks old, and they said she would grow to be ~15 lbs. She’s now a full-grown 55 lbs with unlimited energy! I attached one of my favorite pics of her on one of our walks because it elicits so many complex emotions.

Joseph, So sorry to hear about Koda. He was a beautiful dog and sounds like a great companion. He obviously had a good life and was truly loved. Thank you for sharing.

Kevin and UAI team and family – Always a good thing for folks to share photos and stories about their pets, and we get to know each other a little more, so thanks for doing this.
Pictured is Koda in a photo taken about a month ago, by our Office Manager for our Pet Wall at AES Louisville (Colorado) office; she emailed it to me and only one avail for quick post (so forgive the human posing in the pic).

Sadly, since this photo was taken, our family had to put him down about a week ago after steady limp turned out to be terminal illness.  He was adopted from Pulaski County, VA Shelter (near Roanoke, where Gavin and I were Girl Scout dads) and is my daughter Mattie’s dog since age 9.  He since travelled and lived in VA, GA, NM, TX, NV and now CO and guarded our homes.   I called him “the People’s Dog” because at dog parks he went to them 1st, dogs 2nd.  Thanks-

We also got a COVID pet – late April 2020.  Here is Maisy who likes to protect me from the mean people on video conferences.  Or she is warning them that the mean data governance guy (me) is about to tell them no. ;-)
