Many of our member utilities are developing a strategy to build electric vehicle stations across their service areas. UAI is hosting an opportunity to talk with your peers and brainstorm solutions on your EV detection and prediction projects.
Since this is a conversation and knowledge sharing session, we can assume related topics will come up as we dive into the subject matter, but we’ll use the agenda below to get us started. These subjects may very well overlap during discussion.
- How do utilities identify customers who currently have an electric vehicle?
- What is being done to extrapolate the model to then predict where future EV stations are needed, keeping an equitable distribution across socio-economic neighborhoods.
- How are utilities training models so they are relevant to a large region?
- What categories of data are utilities obtaining or purchasing from third parties and what are they doing to test the accuracy of the data, including the validity of survey responses?
- Are there opportunities for collaborative projects between utilities?
